Myee Ranjeeth, you have such good command of the English Language, men, you naughty little thing!
Only yesterday I heard about "opening the face of the ball" when Chamara Silva ran one down to third man. I actually thought he opened the face of the BAT! Silly me!
Then your best was when Bond was bowling, you said "the ball will come faster on to the bat except when he bowls a slow ball" what cricketing knowledge, dear friend.
More strength to your voice, Ranjeeth and may you keep occupying that seat forever.

I think he is better off if he could work in his wifes saloon,Basicaly listning to him is a headeach and you are under so much stress.

He doesnt know any technical aspects of the game and keeps away from commenting on LBW decesions and is always wrong on what he says.

At the rate my family and me in particular have been hitting the mute button when Ranjit comes on to give his comments, I will have to get a new remote every couple of months! And if I am not mistaken, he has the ability to put the commentator's hex on the SL team! So maybe he should give commentaries at other matches! Can we have someone like Sidath give commentaries? I have heard him a few times and he is classy like his batting!

It is hard for a commentator to be totally nutral, non-caring or non-emotional when he sees his own country in dire straits while batting or bowling. While all other commentators give positive imput of how teams have turned the game around, our man Ranjith always puts down, or may I say gives negative comments, that we the spectators don't want to hear from Ranjith. In SL they say "One has a bad mouth" and there have been many an occassion I have felt that his mouth should be flushed with "Dettol". Come on Ranjith, Be a bit more lively and Positive when SL is playing, and in particular when our team is up against the wall. Aussie commentators show positive attitudes even if Australia has 24 runs to get in the last two overs with the tailenders.Ranjith, you will not be nominated for an MBE or OBE for getting into the good book of SL's rival teams & their supporters.

have you heard what he says when a new batsman scores their first runs... its always "so and so have opened their account" when i first heard i was like "What???" sounds like the batter is opening a bank account!
